Smith finished on the podium in his last race at Aragon

Oxfordshire rider Bradley Smith has said he is ready for the hectic schedule of Grand Prix action in the 125cc World Championship.

The 19-year-old will take part in races in Japan, Malaysia and Australia in the next three weeks.

Smith said: "I always look forward to these back-to-back races although it's tough on the body with so much flying.

"I've been training in the heat chamber ready for Malaysia and got plenty of big jackets for Australia."

He added: "Let's hope we can continue in Motegi where we left off in Aragon because we seem to have at last sorted the power problem."

Smith takes to track in Japan on the 3 October in Japan hoping to follow up his third place last time out at Aragon.
