Johnson made his Isle of Man TT debut in 2007, during the event's Centenary |
Organisers of the Isle of Man TT have confirmed Lincolnshire rider Gary Johnson will return to the event in 2010 with AIM Suzuki. Johnson made a big impact on the 2009 event, rounding off an impressive meeting with a podium in the Senior TT. After recovering from a knee injury, the 28-year-old says he is looking forward to the event. "I've had a lot of treatment on my knee throughout the winter and am now fit and ready for the challenge," he said. "Having ridden for Alistair Flanagan and the AIM team at Macau in November, I feel I know the team well and we work well together, so I'm really looking forward to the new season." Johnson is expected to contest both the Superbike and Superstock races and is also set to race in the Supersport class for the Rev2Race East Coast Construction team.
