Reeves won his first world title with his brother Tristan |
Triple world sidecar champion Tim Reeves has said winning the 2009 Isle of Man TT is his top priority. Following a podium finish on his debut, the Kent rider said: "It's the biggest motorcycle event in the world and the biggest sidecar race. "The world titles were incredible but the recognition and publicity from winning the TT are second to none." Alongside Patrick Farrence, Reeves produced the fastest ever time for a newcomer in this year's event. He added: "The people on this island love motor sport and they really make you feel like you are welcome, which is another major attraction to the event, I can't wait to be back racing on the island." Reeves finished third in this year's sidecar race, making him the first newcomer to make the podium since Rolf Biland, nearly 30 years ago. The Aylesford racer is currently on the island learning the course and working out how to improve his lap times ahead of TT 2009 in June.
