Tim Reeves won his first world championship with brother Tristan

Kent's world champion sidecar racer Tim Reeves produced the fastest ever time for a newcomer alongside his partner Patrick Farrence at the Isle of Man TT.

Reeves, who finished third in the sidecar race, is the first newcomer to the podium since Rolf Biland nearly 30 years ago.

He said: "It's unreal. I can't believe I've actually finished my first ever TT race in third. It feels fantastic.

"Everyone seems to love sidecar racing here. I'll definitely be back."

The Aylesford racer, the current British champion. is going for his fourth world sidecar championship this year.
