Toomebridge rider Michael Laverty has been named as the Irish Racer Irish Motorcyclist of the Year. The British Supersport champion came home ahead of British Superbike runner-up Jonathan Rea in the voting at the Ramada Hotel on Friday night.
Omagh's BJ Toal, winner of the Virgin Media Cup, was in third position.
Rea and Laverty tied for Short Circuit Rider of the Year, John McGuinness was top International Road Racer and Conor Cummins leading National Road Racer.
Relentless TAS Suzuki were named Team of the Year , Wayne Garrett Off-Road Rider of the Year and Graeme Irwin Young Rider of the Year.
Former Formula Two world champion Brian Reid was inducted into the Hall of Fame and special guest Giacomo Agostini was presented with an International Achievement Award.
