Jonathan Rea has been voted as the NGK Irish Motorcyclist of the Year at the Enkalon Club awards night in Antrim. Rea, who finished second in the British Superbike championship, topped the Enkalon awards from British Supersport winner Michael Laverty and BJ Toal.
Third-placed man Toal was the winner of the Virgin Media R6 Cup series.
William Dunlop was the best of the road racers in fourth place with motocross specialists Martin Barr and Wayne Garrett completing the top six.
Barr won the special off-road award for the second time with Mark Young being selected as young road race rider of the year.
Jonny Buckley won the equivalent short circuit prize, Drew Jamison the 125 newcomers award and Jami Patterson best under-21 competitor.
Graeme Irwin was the winner of the young off-road rider's prize.
Gary Hutton took the Classic honours and commentator Harold Crooks the Services to Sport award.
