Our series of photos aimed at showing a different side of Formula 1 continues with the all-important shot of new world champion Jenson Button and constructors' champions Brawn celebrating their joint triumph.

The photographs are taken by Darren Heath, who over the last 20 years has carved a reputation as one of the best photographers working within the sport.

This is Darren's story behind his latest image:

"As the Formula 1 drivers' title race nears its climax many photographers minds turn to the all-important championship-clinching celebrations.

"The pictures shot within the first half hour of victory will be the defining images wired around the globe and as a result the pressure is really on the lensmen present to get THE shot.

"As Jenson Button fought his way through the field to fifth place - with a drive that silenced all the doubts of recent weeks - the F1 press pack planned their moves.

"Slipping through the FIA garage I made my way towards parc ferme, ignoring the one, two, three finishers' bays and making straight for the pit lane entry.

ANDREW BENSON ON BRAWN GP What is not well known is that the Brawn car is, in the words of a team source, 'a botch job'

"As Jenson climbed onto his car the first pictures of the new world champion were shot - and so it begins.

"The next 20 minutes or so were a roller coaster ride of pushing, shoving, chasing, shouting and screaming and to top it all off a right good soaking in Brawn champagne!

"The all important team shot requires a pair of sharp elbows and a central position right slap-bang in front of the man of the moment.

"Just look at the faces on the guys and gals of Brawn GP loving their moment in the limelight.

"Top stuff!"
