Pedersen has won the Speedway World Cup with Denmark twice |
Eastbourne Eagles number one rider Bjarne Pedersen has said he has proved a point after clinching a place in next year's Speedway Grand Prix. The Dane sealed his spot with a top-three finish in the final qualifying round in Sweden last weekend. "It feels better every day," Pedersen, 33, told BBC Sussex. "Before the start of the season, it was one of my goals to get back in it. I was sure I could do it and I've proved it to everyone." It will be the first time since 2008 that Pedersen has been involved in the series, and he knows he must improve his form to be competitive. "I can't lay back over the winter," he added. "I know I have to be better next year than I have been this year."
