Swindon Robins beat Lakeside at the Abbey Stadium on Thursday night to move up to sixth in the Elite League table. Leigh Adams led the way for the Robins with 13 points - while Simon Stead and Maciek Janowski provided strong support with paid 12 and 11 respectively. As a result of Swindon's win Lakeside have missed out on a play-off place. The play-offs will be between Poole Pirates, Peterborough Panthers, Coventry Bees and last year's champions Wolverhampton Wolves.
