Jack Harvey has had 11 podium finishes in 12 races this season

Lincolnshire racing driver Jack Harvey will hope to extend his advantage in the Formula BMW Europe series at the penultimate round at Spa in Belgium.

Harvey, 17, has won six races out of 12 this season and has a 23-point lead over Robin Frijns in the standings.

He said: "I really can't wait to get back to Spa and out on track, it's such a challenging circuit.

"I'm really fired up for the last two rounds and aim to carry on the results from where we left off in Hungary."

Harvey, who has finished on the podium in all but one of this season's races, added: "I have taken every test, qualifying session and race one by one and it's meant I've been able to get the right results so far this year.

"Both myself and the team have worked incredibly hard to make sure we get everything right, especially in qualifying and the races to be able to go for victory at each round and we just need to keep doing the same things over the final two events."
