Jack Harvey has had 11 podium finishes in 12 races this season

Lincolnshire racing driver Jack Harvey claimed his sixth Formula BMW Europe win of the season at the Hungaroring in Hungary to maintain his series lead.

Harvey, 17, was second in Saturday's opening race behind nearest rival Robin Frijns, but won Sunday's race from pole position to restore his 23-point lead.

He said: "I just lacked a little bit of pace to stay with Robin in race one.

"I got a great start in race two but I had to push really hard and concentrate as it's a tough circuit."

Harvey now has a four-week break until the next round at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
