Haslam is second in the standings but still trails Biaggi by 60 points |
Leon Haslam has not given up hope of winning the Superbike World Championship after two top-four finishes at Silverstone on Sunday. Alstare Suzuki rider Haslam cut Max Biaggi's lead by eight points after finishing third and fourth - but is still 60 points behind the Italian. Haslam told his website: "The last three rounds - Nurburgring, Imola and Magny-Cours- are circuits I like. "We're going see if we can grab some wins and keep the pressure on." Yamaha rider Cal Crutchlow emerged victorious in this weekend's races - his first ever World Superbike wins.
