Plymouth Devils slipped to defeat at the Isle of Wight in the National League despite an outstanding performance by Mark Simmonds. Simmonds won all five of his races to score 18 points, including six from a tactical ride. Skipper Seemond Stephens and Matt Bates were the only other race winners for the Devils. Danny Warwick was the top scorer for the Isle of Wight with 13 points from five rides. The Devils will have an early chance of revenge, as the Isle of Wight are the visitors to the St Boniface Arena on Friday.
