Moore in action at the Rowrah circuit in Cumbria

Jersey's Struan Moore managed to hold on to his 15th place overall in the British Karting Championship despite a tough weekend in Cumbria.

With only 25 drivers left in KF3 MSA Super 1 Series, the 15-year-old found himself up against a challenging field at the Rowrah circuit.

In race one, Moore finished 22nd after starting 19th on the grid, as bumper damage cost him valuable time.

Race two saw the youngster fight back from 22nd to finish in 16th.

The next round of the British Karting Championship is set to be held at the Glan Y Gors circuit in North Wales on 7-8 August.
