Freddie Lindgren spurs Wolverhampton to first away win
Freddie Lindgren now heads off to Prague for the Grand Prix series
Wolverhampton edged a nail-biting Elite League meeting at Brandon, holding off Coventry Bees 46-44.
Freddie Lindgren and Ty Proctor secured the three points needed from heat 15, packing in behind an in-form Bees skipper Chris Harris.
"It's great. It was very intense all night, the match could've gone either way," Lindgren told BBC WM.
"We performed very well, Ty Proctor is doing a great job, Nicolai Klindt is doing a good job too."
Wolves were without injured skipper Tai Woffinden, but made good use of the rider-replacement facility to claim nine points from Woffinden's four scheduled rides.
This compensated for the poor showing of reserves Joe Haines and Ludvig Lindgren who could muster only three points between them.
The elder Lindgren brother, Freddie, took 16 points from six rides and was backed up by Klindt (12) and Proctor (nine).
Harris top-scored with 13 for the Bees, Richard Sweetman notching nine from reserve.
