King's Lynn Stars recorded their third Premier League win in a row to go top of the Premier League table.

Australian Kevin Doolan top-scored for the Stars as they notched up their biggest victory of the season so far.

Club captain Tomas Topinka was unbeaten by an opposing rider, as he made his comeback to the side after four-and-a-half weeks out with a broken leg.

Stars lead Birmingham by a point in the Premier League with Rye House a further point behind.

Swedish rider Linus Eklof returned to the side after a neck injury and Joe Haines was also available after competing in the World Under-21 championship in Poland.

"It's always nice to have your full seven and we've not had that for about a month or so now," Stars manager Rob Lyon told BBC Radio Norfolk.

"Hopefully we can steer clear of any problems and the other guys can get some more confidence and kick on.

"I think we'd have been happy to take four league points last weekend but to get all eight was an unbelievable performance," Lyon added.

King's Lynn are next in action in the KO Cup away at Glasgow on Sunday, 23 May.

They take a 24 point lead into the second leg of the tie.
