Taylor Poole continued his impressive form with 11 points for Stoke |
Stoke Potters began their Premier League campaign with a 57-35 loss to Workington at Derwent Park on Monday. The Potters, still without skipper Jason Bunyan because of a knee problem, led 19-17 after six heats but were unable to hold onto their advantage. Reserve Taylor Poole, who was doubtful for the meeting with an ankle injury, top scored for Stoke with 11 points. The reverse fixture at Loomer Road, which was postponed on Saturday, has been re-arranged for Sunday, 9 May.
