Redcar Bears team manager Brian Havelock is hopeful their 48-42 win over Newport Wasps on Saturday can become a platform for their season. Bears are yet to record a win on home soil this season but are buoyed by victory in South Wales ahead of the visit of Edinburgh on Thursday. "We needed a result like that and we got it," Havelock said. "We must now make that performance the springboard for further consistency and success. Edinburgh will be tough."
