Sanchez is one of three foreign riders brought in by Redcar

Redcar Bears have signed Argentine rider Emiliano Sanchez and Czech star Tomas Suchanek for the 2010 season.

The 2009 rider of the year became available after the points limit forced Premier League champions King's Lynn to reshuffle their roster.

Suchanek has ridden for a number of clubs in the Premier and Elite League and knows the track from a stint with the Bears in 2006.

Redcar now have six of their squad places filled ahead of the 2010 season.

Also signed up are skipper Gary Havelock, Maks Gregoric, Ben Wilson and Stuart Swales.

Bears boss Brian Havelock is keen to complete the roster in good time before the preparations for the forthcoming season are underway.

"I'm pleased that we have six riders in place and I am now waiting on a reply from one other. This is a very solid looking side," he said.
