Sanchez will ride for his Argentine side in December

Emiliano Sanchez has been voted King's Lynn Stars' rider of the year by the club's fans after playing his part in their victorious Knock Out Cup final.

Sanchez told BBC Radio Norfolk: "This year has been a dream come true."

His award is in addition to the other three trophies he collected with his King's Lynn team-mates, including the Premier League title.

"Some riders can't do all that in a lifetime and we've done it all in one season," he added.

The Argentine, who rides for clubs in Italy and his native country, has only a few months rest before he rides for his other club in December.

"I haven't got much time for a holiday as I start riding again in Argentina in early December," he said.

Sanchez in likely to remain a King's Lynn rider and return to the Norfolk Arena next year.
