Lowestoft Town joint manager Ady Gallagher hailed his team's "incredible" performance in their FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay.
The Suffolk side beat Gloucester City 4-2 on Tuesday to reach the first round proper for the first time since 1977.
Gallagher told BBC Radio Suffolk: "It's a dream come true as it's always been an ambition of mine to get to the first round proper, they were fantastic."
Lowestoft now face Blue Square Premier club Wrexham on Saturday, 7 November.
Gallagher added his team should not be written off against professional opposition: "We've shown the depth of our squad in the two games so far, using different players and different formations.
"Obviously it's going to be extremely tough but in reality they're one league higher than Gloucester.
"We know we're going to have to be at our best to be tight and keep in the game but who knows, the FA Cup is full of great stories and we could be the next one."
