Dave Tattum has targeted a top-four finish for Stoke in the Premier League |
Promoter Dave Tattum described Stoke Potters' performance in the 60-32 home defeat to Birmingham Brummies as the worst in his time with the club. And he promised changes to the team after watching the Potters lose for the seventh time in eight meetings. "That was the worst performance by a Stoke team in all the years that I have promoted here, it was totally unacceptable," said Tattum. "We were a complete shambles and changes will now have to be made." Tattum continued: "I really cannot believe how poor we were, I can only describe our performance as an absolute disgrace. "I can only apologise to the sponsors and supporters of the club for such an inept performance." Former world champion Gary Havelock could only manage four points on his first appearance for the Potters as a replacement for injured skipper Jason Bunyan. The defeat leaves Stoke rooted to the foot of their Premier Trophy group with two meetings remaining.
