Tattum has seen the Potters lose all four of their meetings this season |
Stoke Potters promoter Dave Tattum has said he may part company with the riders that are not performing to standard after four straight defeats. "It just isn't good enough and we will not allow it to go on," Tattum told BBC Radio Stoke ahead of the meeting against Scunthorpe on Saturday. "If the riders that are not performing at the moment don't up their game quickly, we'll have to part company. "It's a total disappointment to me and the supporters, and I'm angry over it." Only skipper Jason Bunyan and Klaus Jakobsen remain from the team that ended 2009 at Loomer Road. The Potters lost their opening two meetings to Birmingham, followed by defeats by Scunthorpe and Redcar in the Premier Trophy. Teenage reserve Taylor Poole has escaped criticism from Tattum after excellent performances in his last two rides. "He's only a kid, he's come from Australia and he's doing the job admirably," said Tattum. "He scored 18 at Scunthorpe and 15 against Redcar, and with those type of scores from a reserve we should be winning matches. "That should be the icing on the cake for us, and it shouldn't be dependent on him to keep the match alive."
