Taylor Poole continued his good form with 10 points for Stoke Potters |
Birmingham Brummies recorded their biggest win since returning to speedway in 2007, beating Stoke Potters 65-29 in the Premier Trophy on Wednesday. The Potters were outclassed at Perry Barr, with only Taylor Poole [10] and James Holder [9] coming out of the meeting with a respectable score. In contrast, four Birmingham riders scored full or paid [second only to a team-mate] maximums in the victory. Stoke return to action on Thursday, when they take on Redcar Bears. The Potters, who have won just one of their four matches so far in the Premier Trophy, will be without skipper Jason Bunyan for around a month with knee ligament damage.
