Wolverhampton have completed their 2010 Elite League squad by adding Cumbrian racer Richard Lawson to their roster as the number eight rider. Lawson, 23, currently rides full-time for Workington Comets in the Premier League but will be available for the Wolves as a rider replacement. "Richard is a very talented rider," said Wolves owner Chris Van Straaten. "He's the type of rider to fit the bill, he's making progress in the sport and has a desire to succeed." Lawson began riding in motocross before he became involved with speedway and has a strong family connection in the sport as he is the son of former rider Steve Lawson.
