Miskowiak rode for the Witches in the second half of last season |
Ipswich Witches have announced the rest of their 2010 team following the earlier signings of Scott Nicholls and Danny King. Robert Miskowiak and Dawid Stachrya have signed up for the new season, along with Carl Wilkinson, who will also ride in the Premier League. British rider Oliver Allen, Dane Claus Vissing and Swede Linus Sundstrom are the new faces at Foxhall. Witches director Chris Louis said: "I'm happy we'll have a competitive side." He continued: "If we can avoid the disastrous start we had last year with two riders being injured in the very first meeting and make a solid start to the campaign then we can definitely be in the mix at the end of the season." | Olly Allen is a tough little character who always bounces back from adversity and he will give valuable support to the three heat-leaders Team manager Pete Simmons |
Team manager Pete Simmons was pleased to sign up the new riders. He said: "I think the arrival of Linus Sundstrom is great news, not only because he is an exciting young up-and-coming rider but because he will ease the burden on Carl Wilkinson whose schedule last year was overloaded due to the injuries to Kozza Smith. "Claus Vissing had some good meetings at Foxhall for Peterborough last year and I am confident that he will up his game in 2010. "Olly Allen is a tough little character who always bounces back from adversity and he will give valuable support to the three heat-leaders."
