Kramer helped the Rebels finish sixth in the table at the end of the season |
Somerset Rebels' season came to an abrupt end with an aggregate defeat by Stoke Potters in the Young Shield. The Rebels won their match against Stoke at the Oak Tree Arena 49-43 but it was not enough to overturn the nine point deficit from the first leg. Somerset welcomed back star rider Emil Kramer for the quarter-final, who rode despite suffering from a back injury. The Rebels pressed hard on an unusually slippery home track but eventually lost out 95-92 over the two legs.
