Makinen will make his debut at the Rebel's Oak Tree Arena

Somerset Rebels have signed 2007 Finnish Under-21 champion Jari Makinen on a 28-day deal from Kings Lynn.

The 19-year-old comes in as an injury replacement for Tom Brown, who has a fractured collar-bone.

Makinen, who rode for Mildenhall in the Premier League last year, will make his debut against Birmingham on Friday.

"Jari comes to us highly recommended and I am sure that the Somerset crowd will give him a very warm welcome," said Rebels promoter Debbie Hancock.
