Jason Bunyan has raised his average by over a point in the 2009 season |
Jason Bunyan will represent the Stoke Potters in the Premier League Riders Championship at Sheffield's Owlerton circuit on Sunday, 27 September. Bunyan will compete against the top rider from each of the 14 Premier League clubs, plus the two other highest scorers in the league. The 30-year-old, who joined Stoke at the start of the season, has been their most consistent performer in 2009. He has averaged 8.32 this season, over a point more than his average in 2008. Meanwhile, the Potters are looking to get back to winning ways when they take on Glasgow at Loomer Road on Saturday, followed by a trip to Newport on Sunday. Stoke were hammered 65-30 by Rye House on 31 August, just two days after beating the same team at home by a six-point margin.
