Rye House gain revenge over Stoke

Stoke Potters

Rye House gained quick revenge over Stoke, beating the Potters 65-30 at Hoddesdon on Monday to atone for their defeat at Loomer Road 48 hours earlier.

Veteran Andrew Silver collected his first maximum of the season for Rye House as Stoke were soundly beaten.

Apart from Jason Bunyan and skipper Lee Complin, the Potters provided little resistance to the Rockets.

On Saturday, the Potters won for the first time in four meetings, coming out 48-42 winners in a close contest.

Stoke team manager John Woolridge told the official website: "We were a two-man team and I dread to think what would have happened had we not got Jason and Lee today.

"Jesper (Kristiansen) tried hard but got little return in the way of points. The rest just did not perform and it's just not good enough."
