Isle of Man rider Conor Cummins says the key ingredient to his success at Saturday's Ulster Grand Prix in Northern Ireland was confidence.

The 23-year-old won the Dundrod 150 last Thursday before going on to win Saturday's first Superbike race.

Cummins told Manx Radio: "It was brilliant to win the Dunrod 150 but to win the Suberbike race was something very special.

"Sitting on pole was nerve-wracking but I just had to get my head down."

"I pushed and pushed and pushed and luckily it came off, I knew I was in a race with Guy [Martin] and Hutchy Ian Hutchinson] on my tail."

On his way to victory in the Dunrod 150 Cummins became the fastest road racer on the planet with a lap average speed of 133.282mph.
