Knight wins British Enduro title

David Knight
Knight is a double World Enduro and Grand National Cross Country winner

David Knight overcame the elements as well as the opposition to win the 2009 British Enduro Championship at Dyfi Forest in Wales on Sunday.

The 31-year-old Manxman wrapped up the Championship after topping both days of competition with some excellent riding.

Knight's victory and the cancellation of round four means the Kawasaki rider has an insurmountable series lead.

"To win the British title was a little unexpected but it's always nice to win," said Knight.

He added: "The great thing for me was that the test had a bit of everything, which is exactly what I need to get the bike set-up for world championship racing."
