Knight is a double World Enduro and Grand National Cross Country winner

David Knight made a great start on his new Kawasaki bike on Saturday in the latest round of the British Enduro Championships in Powys.

Competing for the first under the Paul Bird Motorsport/Kawasaki banner, Knight finished day one in third before moving into first place overall on day two.

Knight said: "All things considered I'm really pleased with result.

"I really enjoyed both days, I had a good laugh and learned a lot about the bike, which is what I wanted."

Knight elected to ride Kawasaki machinery for the remainder of the 2009 season, following his split from the BMW Motorrad Motorsport team.
