Castletown lifted the Standard Bank Twenty20 Cain Cup at Tromode on Saturday after defeating league leaders St John's in the final. Saints batted first and set their southern opponents a target of 108-6, with Jaco Jansen making 26 and Greg Hawke finishing unbeaten on 24. In reply Town lost an early wicket, before Gareth Morris and Ben Akrigg guided them to victory. Morris cracked 42 and man-of-the-match Akrigg made a stirring 54. In the semi-finals Castletown had got the better of Loaghtyn whilst St John's overcame Ramsey.
