Smart has ridden for eight different British clubs

Birmingham Brummies have recalled Lee Smart from a loan spell at Stoke ahead of Wednesday's Premier League meeting with Glasgow.

The 21-year-old has suffered several injuries over the last year, but he rediscovered his form during loan spells at Glasgow and the Potters.

He will slot in at reserve alongside Jay Herne against the Tigers.

It will be the Brummies' first meeting for 10 days, after Sunday's trip to Newport was postponed due to rain.

Birmingham remain second in the Premier League table, level on points with King's Lynn, although the Norfolk side have three fixtures in hand.
