Birmingham say they are not short of options as they look to replace released rider Manuel Hauzinger.

Brummies promoter Graham Drury hopes to have a new man in place in time for the Premier League fixture at home to Glasgow on 22 July.

"I've been quite surprised by the number of calls I've had from riders interested in Birmingham," said Drury.

"Some of them can't join us because their average wouldn't fit, but it's been a compliment to the club."

The Brummies will have to reshuffle their line-up to some extent at the start of August, as reserve Richard Sweetman has been hugely exceeding his average.
