Birmingham Brummies moved into second place in the Premier League after a 54-39 victory over Berwick at Perry Barr on Wednesday. Australian reserve Richard Sweetman was again the star, dropping just one point from his seven races on the night. Berwick had made a positive start, with Paul Clews and Josef Franc dominating the early stages for the visitors, before the Brummies hit back. Birmingham take on league leaders Workington on Sunday.
