Wolves' rider Tai Woffinden starred in a guest role for King's Lynn |
Birmingham's misfiring form in the Premier Trophy continued with a 63-30 humbling at King's Lynn. The heavy defeat came despite four heat wins and another double-figure points haul from skipper Jason Lyons. The Brummies were without one of their heat leaders, Tomasz Piszcz, who was out after dislocating two fingers. But Lyons won two of his rides, Robert Ksiezak and Richard Sweetman were also heat winners, even though it proved in vain against the Trophy's form-horses. King's Lynn were led by 14 points from Chris Schramm, guest rider Tai Woffinden of Wolves added 12 and Emiliano Sanchez got 10. Lyons notched 11 for the Brummies supported by Ksiezak (eight) and Sweetman (six).
