Justin Kemp kept his head at Canterbury as Kent beat Warwickshire by four wickets to move joint top of Group B in the Friends Provident Trophy.

On a day when Ian Bell marked his England recall with a fifth-ball duck, Jim Troughton (62) and Jonathan Trott (53) helped the Bears post 218 all out.

Kent then looked a little shaky at 125-4 when Kemp came to the crease.

But he hit six fours as he made an unbeaten 45 in 52 balls to see Kent home to a third straight Trophy win.
