The Brummies' Trophy campaign has never really got going |
Birmingham boss Graham Drury is ready to make significant changes to his line-up when the next set of Premier League averages come out. The current team have another chance to impress in the Trophy trip to King's Lynn on Wednesday evening, but many riders are treading a fine line. "We'll see where we stand with the averages after 12 matches," said Drury. "But I can confirm we are looking to make a move to strengthen the team - that's all I want to say." The Brummies' Premier Trophy campaign has been little short of a disaster, and Drury is eager to make sure they are firing on all cylinders before the League campaign starts in earnest at home to Redcar on 20 May. King's Lynn will have Wolves' talented teenager Tai Woffinden riding as a guest in Wednesday's Trophy match, deputising for the injured Tomas Topinka. Woffinden himself is defying doctor's orders to ride with a badly damaged thumb and shoulder.
