The Brummies are seeking revenge for a weekend defeat at Somerset

Birmingham hand a debut to Daniel Halsey in Wednesday night's Premier Trophy clash at home to Somerset.

Halsey, 20, has been signed on loan from Rye House after the release of out-of-form Polish rider Marek Mroz.

"I still believe this team has what it takes to have a good season," said Brummies boss Graham Drury.

"I'm sure our fans will welcome young Daniel - he was very enthusiastic about joining Birmingham and reckons it's one of his favourite tracks in the league."

Somerset include former Wolves veteran Steve Johnston who has stepped down to Premier League level after 14 years in the top flight.
