Cambridgeshire-based Rob Huff brought his fourth season in World Touring Cars to a close with a win on the final weekend in Macau.

The Chevrolet star survived an incident-packed final lap to take the chequered flag in race two, having earlier finished fifth in race one.

Huff told the Chevrolet website: "I'm very pleased, but I was very lucky.

"In my mind I had just settled for fourth when all of a sudden everyone in front of me went off."

Seat's Yvan Muller took the championship with 114 points, with Huff finishing third on 87 points.

It was the 28-year-old's best-ever finish in the World Touring Car Championship and saw him end the season as the best-placed Chevrolet driver.
