Heikki Kovalainen overcame wet conditions to win the second GP2 race of the weekend in Turkey on Sunday and extend his championsip lead. Rain swept across the new circuit while the GP2 cars were waiting on the grid, so the start was delayed by 15 minutes.
Kovalainen was the first to switch back to dry tyres and the gamble paid off.
With title-rival Nico Rosberg taking third behind Northern Irishman Adam Carroll, Kovalainen has extended his series lead to seven points.
Frenchman Alexandre Premat won the first GP2 race of the weekend on Saturday.
