Lennox Lewis takes the fight to Botha
A round-by-round guide to Lennox Lewis' two round victory over South African Francois Botha at the London Arena.

After entering the arena to his favourite reggae music, Lewis was given a thunderous ovation as he made his way into the ring.

Round One: Lewis, who towers over his opponent, comes out looking to use his jab as much as possible and almost immediately brings up a swelling around Botha's left eye.

After just one minute the champion uses his clubbing right hand to full effect, rocking Botha. Lewis shows total control throughout the round.

Round Two: Lewis bides his time, looking to pick the right shots and avoid the quick counter-punches of Botha.

After two minutes and 39 seconds, Lewis unleashes a lethal three shot combination sending the South African through the ropes. The referee stops the fight. Lewis wins and remains heavyweight champion of the world.

It's the quickest defeat of Botha's career and a demolition, three rounds quicker than Mike Tyson's defeat of the South African.
