The brainchild of golfing legend Bobby Jones, the Augusta National is arguably the most famous golf course in the world.

With Rae's Creek, Amen Corner and a whole host of tricky holes, the course represents a challenge for even the best.

Lengthened in recent years because of the increasing number of big hitters, the course still makes mortals of most.

If the golfer can negotiate the first 17 holes with no problem, there is always the famous 18th awaiting them, with sand traps guarding the fairway and a tilting green to finish.
