570 yards, par five The eighth is a huge par five up the hill with a little dogleg right-to-left at the end. This is another hole that has been tweaked a lot over the years - ridges put in and taken out, bunkers filled in and enlarged and another 20 yards added two years ago. Again it is possible, with a bit of good fortune and the wind in the right direction, to reach this hole in two. A good drive, a solid second shot to within 40 yards, chip up and two putts. It is a simple five, but it is not so easy to get a four. 2010 rank: 15th hardest (stroke ave. 4.865) All-time rank (1942-2010): 15th (4.84)
