Guernsey seniors champion Micky King is hoping to get his first ever win over Jersey's defending Channel Island senior golf champion Bart McCarthy.

The pair meet at the Royal Jersey on Saturday for the Channel Islands senior title and King says he does not think McCarthy's home advantage will count.

"He plays at La Moye and we're playing at Grouville so we're both away if you like," he told BBC Guernsey.

"He's beaten me every time so that's why I've been practising hard."
