Jan Chamberlain took the De La Rue Trophy

Jan Chamberlain cruised to an easy victory in Sunday's final of the Guernsey Ladies Golf Championship.

She took the De La Rue trophy after just 25 of the 36 holes when she amassed a 12 and 11 lead over the previous champion Sue Wellfair.

"I was one down after two holes and I really never looked back," she said.

"Lunchtime saw me seven up. I was quite fortunate as I putted in for a birdie at the first and my momentum started again," she told BBC Guernsey.
