The 18-year-old carded a final round of 71 to seal her second title in her rookie season on the LPGA tour.

Fellow teenager Wie, 15, closed with a 68 to share second spot with Ochoa while Canada's Lorie Kane was fourth.

England's Laura Davies slipped down from joint-second after a terrible run of bogeys saw her tied for 14th.

The two-time former winner dropped a shot at the 10th then hit five in a row from the 12th to take 42 shots on the back nine.

It was also a disastrous day for world number one Annika Sorenstam, who settled for 12th on three under.

Meanwhile, Creamer's victory saw her become the youngest player to pass the $1m mark on the tour.

It is also likely to see her become the youngest Solheim Cup player when the US take on Europe in September.

"This is fantastic to get another win," said Creamer. "Now I'm looking forward to the British Open."

"It's a good feeling with the leaderboard getting younger and younger - I've just had a great week.

"Just the strength of this field and the Evian ensemble makes it huge for me to win here. It means an awful lot."

Creamer will meet star amateur Wie, who still insists she has not yet decided when to turn professional, at Birkdale when the tournament begins on Thursday.
