Janice Moodie's chances of a first tour win since 2002 died at the final hole of the Canadian Open as a three-putt double bogey cost her a play-off.

Moodie had led after the first three days but a final round of 75 saw her finish three shots behind leader Meena Lee, in joint sixth place.

Lee's winning score of nine-under-par 279 saw her finish one shot ahead of playing partner Katherine Hull.

Fellow Briton Johanna Head was one of three others sharing sixth with Moodie.
